The name for my stuffed mushrooms was inspired by recent events. I brought bite-size versions of these babies to a 4th of July party last week and was told by a friend "Teach my wife to make these and she will get Sex(ie) all week!"
And it's no wonder. These shrooms are packed full of aphrodisiacs like garlic and onion. So grab your dreamboat and go on a magic, Sexie trip with these Shrooms. If it worked for my friends, maybe it can work for you too! Let's bring on the Sexie:
6 medium stuffing portobellos
1/4 cup onion
4 cloves garlic
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
1 tbsp chopped chives (garnish)
Heat your oven to 375 degrees. Grab your food processor and add the onion, garlic, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar to the bowl. Then remove the stems and gills from your portobellos and add those to the bowl as well. Process till it's creamy, adding more oil lubrication if needed. And finally add salt to taste.
Now place your Shroom caps on a lightly oiled baking sheet and fill them with the tasty creaminess you just made. Pop them in the oven to get hot and steamy. After about 20 minutes their tops should have a nice, brown tan.
Slide two Shrooms on a plate, top with the chive garnish, call your heartthrob over, and GET A ROOM!
*Be sure that you both eat from the mushroom or you'll be wishing you could "take their breath away!"
