It's still fall and that means it's pumpkin season! So come here my little pumpkin and let's explore this Sexie gourd!

Pumpkins are winter squashes, native to North America, but are grown almost everywhere. You can eat the pumpkin flesh, seeds, leaves, and flowers. (Squash blossoms anyone?) You can find pumpkin in soups, pies, tempura, pastas, breads, desserts, curries, and beverages. In the fall and winter it's all Sexie, all the time!

Party With Pumpkins

Give that pumpkin's skin a bath, cut that pumpkin with a serrated knife, scoop out the insides and let's get Sexie! Here are some super Sexie things to do with your pumpkin:

Pumpkin Puree - don't get that canned stuff (it's usually butternut squash, not true pumpkin)

Instructions: Get a large pot of water boiling. Cut your pumpkin into pieces that will fit inside the pot. Boil the pumpkin until it's tender. (25min?) Drain the pumpkin pieces and let them cool. Scrape the pumpkin flesh into a food processor and process until it's creamy. Done!
